2015 Board Officers

President: Eli Meyer
Eli has been active with the organization since 2005, serving as president for four years and treasurer for three years. His extensive experience with the organization, familiarity with green building practices in the Sierra, and his deep rooted passion for promoting sustainable building practices in the community suits him well in his role as the SiGBA Board President.

Vice President: Scott Montgomery
As someone who has just recently completed building a new "green" home in Truckee, Scott hopes to bring to SIGBA the knowledge of that experience to share both within the organization and to the community at large. Scott found SIGBA to be an invaluable resource during his project. He looks forward to increasing his involvement to help enhance and expand the information, resources and education it brings to the entire Sierra community.

Treasurer: Peter Beaupre
As Treasurer, Peter will continue to ensure that revenue and expenditures are in line with the budget. As the owner of a local engineering and construction firm he is deeply passionate about making our local projects more efficient and sustainable. Peter has worked on 3 LEED projects locally as well as being the construction manager for the Truckee Airport Administration Building which was on last years Green Building Tour.

Secretary: Morgan Shoemaker
Morgan is newer to SiGBA but looks forward to many exciting years to come.  Morgan is originally from the greater Los Angeles area and spent almost five years living in historic Savannah, GA. She has earned her LEED Green Associate credential and is currently working toward becoming a Registered Architect, Certified Interior Designer and NCIDQ Certified Designer.
