Eli is an active leader in the local green building community. Serving his third term as the president of SiGBA, he has played an instrumental role in many SiGBA programs including managing the SiGBA.org web site, developing SiGBA's web-integrated membership database and online member directory, as well as serving as the managing editor of the 2008 Resource Guide. Eli is also an active leader in the Keep the Sierra Green business recognition program, working together with various community organizations across the sierra to promote and support green businesses.
Working at MWA Architecture and Engineering, Meyer is involved in a variety of building programs including commercial, residential, new construction, and renovations. His interdisciplinary background provides him insight into the unique challenges of the trade-offs associated with sustainable design programs. He has a strong background in science and technology, leveraging proven technologies to achieve ambitious program goals. Eli received his Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1998, and is actively involved in continuing education, through his involvement in the community.
