Sierra Green Building Association is hosting a Green Building Tour in Truckee Saturday, October 18 from 8:30am - 4:00pm. Registration for the tour is at 8:30 at the Truckee Donner PUD 11570 Donner Pass Road
Truckee. Bus will depart at 9:00.
Join the tour to see examples of ICF & SIP construction, passive solar design, cellulose insulation, Zero-VOC paint, FSC framing, LEED certified construction, solar electricity & solar hot water. This is an opportunity to explore the new green ideas for remodeling and new green construction, talk with homeowners and their design and construction teams, see their projects and learn about their experiences. We will be visiting 4 homes and 2 commercial buildings in the Truckee area.
