Commuter Cars- The Tango
Every commuter knows that the current system of driving alone to and from work in heavy traffic is crazy, yet there hasn't been any real alternative. Until Commuter Cars came along, no one could buy their way out of a traffic jam without climbing on a motorcycle. We're changing all that with the introduction of the two-seat Tango.

No more worries about safety as you're ballasted for flat-out cornering stability and protected by a racing-certified roll cage designed to protect you and your passenger. Emission-free and exciting, the electric Tango T600 is designed to beat most sports cars in the quarter mile with acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in just 4 seconds and a top speed of 150 mph!

Electricity is the most efficient fuel on the planet for transportation, costing approximately $0.02 per mile driven;
A multiple-vehicle family typically needs one full-size, unlimited-range vehicle. Most, however, will save time and money by also owning an all-electric vehicle and utilizing it for short trips--the trips that presently use the most gasoline and create the largest amount of pollution. An all-electric vehicle is the perfect second or third vehicle for transportation, good stewardship of resources and cost-effective travel.
As hundreds of millions of dollars are spent annually on new battery development and entrepreneurs take existing technology and make it work better, we anticipate the batteries used in today's electric vehicles will serve drivers well and then be replaced in the future by batteries that improve range.

The Tesla Roadster delivers full availability of performance every moment you are in the car, even while at a stoplight. Its peak torque begins at zero rpm and stays powerful beyond 13,000 rpm.
This is the precise opposite of what you experience with a gasoline engine, which has very little torque at a low rpm and only reaches peak torque in a narrow rpm range. This forces you to make frequent gear changes to maintain optimal torque. With the Tesla Roadster, you get great acceleration and the highest energy efficiency at the same time. All while requiring no special driving skills to enjoy it. This makes the Tesla Roadster six times as efficient as the best sports cars while producing one-tenth of the pollution.
